The SLD server connection is inactive

Hi

I have a SSM 4.0 system with its own SLD, but we migrated the SLD server to another system (XI), and when I try to run the report of TC SMSY_SETUP, it throws the following error:

<b>The SLD server connection is inactive</b>

Let me tell you what I have made until now:

1 In transaction SLDAPICUST I place the entrance of the new servisor of SLD (host, port, user, password)

2 In transaction SM59 I modified the SAPSLDAPI dest. with host and gateway of the new servant of the SLD

3 In the Visual Administrator of SSM, in the service JCo RFC Provider, I modified the program that was referenced in the previous destiny so that it aimed at new host

I need any additional step?

Thanks

Hector,

I think you need to delete the JCO RFC provider on the solution manager and create it in the new SLD server Visual Administrator with the destination used in the SAPSLDAPI.

Make sure that SAPSLDAPI connects correclty to the new SLD server. Now try to run SMSY_SETUP.

Thanks Srini for you qick answer.

Look, I delete the server program in the JCo RFC Provider service in the V.A. of SSM, an create the same program in the V.A. on the new SLD server, then I check the connection in the SM59 for the SAPSLDAPI dest. and it's OK but the error its the same, that is the job in the SMSY_SETUP throw the same error: The SLD server connection is inactive.

I used the SLDCHECK and throw me this result:

Properties of RFC destination SAPSLDAPI

RFC host:

%%RFCSERVER%%

program id: SAPSLDAPI_XIC

gateway host: newSLDServer

gateway service: sapgw00

Testing the RFC connection to the SLD java client...

RFC ping was successful

SLD server access settings:

host name: newSLDServer

port number: 50000

user :

Use transaction SLDAPICUST if you wish to maintain the SLD server access data

Launching the SLD GUI in a separate browser window...

=> Verify in the browser GUI that the SLD is in a healthy running state!

Calling function LCR_LIST_BUSINESS_SYSTEMS

Retrieving data from the SLD server...

Function call returned exception code 4

=> Check whether the SLD is running!

Summary: Connection to SLD does not work

=> Check SLD function and configurations

Any ideas?

Thanks
