Found out that it still try to connect to sapgw01, now the solution manager system number is 00 no longer 01.
Anywhere in configtool / offlineconfig for me to change and point the gateway to correct port ?
Thanks is advance
Hi,
Refer SAP note :
Note 1341701 - partner 'hostname:service' not reached
It seems there is a port opening issue at server level. also check if host file entries are correct
Also check in your DEFAULT and START profile parameter SAPSYSTEM =00

Hi,
Please check all the profile in <Installation Drive>:\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\profile
Ensure new instance number is reflecting.
Now dont stop the installation, try starting the Instance manually, startsap or via console.
Now got to work directory and look for the last modified logs and let us know.
Thanks

Hi,
Check in your instance profile if the old number is still mentioned somewhere (maybe as a port number ex. 3600 or 3900).
Check the instance profile parameters in config tool as well.

Sonia
