alerts not generated

Hi Experts,

I am facing an issue in alerts.I have configuired alert categroies and alert rules in dev system.worked fine then imported to QAS.In QA also it's working fine.Finally moved to Prod .Then i test alerts using RSALERTTEST report.working fine.

But in prod system from moni if any interface fails alerts are not triggering.I found the problem by running report SXMSALERT_LOGREADER.Please see below the error description.

Communication_Failure:Error when opening an RFC connection (CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPOCMINIT' : cmRc=17 thRc=236#SAP gateway connection failed. IS)

I tried many ways to solve this but couldn't.Can you guys please suggest me how to resolve this???

Hi ,

I found the problem.

CentralMonitoringServer-XIAlerts RFC not working.

Problem solved.
