Printing LPD windows Problem

Hello ,

Gui client giving print from transaction and system doesn't open LPD window .Smartform is called while printing .

Already Checked following :-1

1) non-sap printing owrking

2) same SAP printer name is used by other users

3) SAP gui 7.20 patch 4 is working fine

Kindly updates other diagnosis areas

Hi,

I guess you are using Access Method F and SAPLPD. This is no longer supported. Define the output device to use Access Method G. Then it should work to print via Frontend.(see SAP note 821519)

Hi,

I used same printing device/access method. But problem was with Operating system antivirus(kaspersky antivirus).I uninstalled the antivirus and everything worked fine.I suggest SAP mentors to write up for this to help others
