Assign equipment class to function location class

Dear Experts,

First thanx for quick reply for my last post.

Now I have another doubt, I have created some function locations & using classification the X class with different catechistic value, say 1, 2, 3 are assigned to them. Equipments are assigned to these function locations.

These equipments are also classified based on classification, say class Y with charecter i, ii, iii etc.

Now I want to related the class X & class Y such that. When I dismantle one equipment from one function location to other function location the characteristic value of equipment will also follow the catachrestic value based on chariest value of function location.

Is it possible in classification

Hi,

I am not completely clear with ur question ..watever u should understand that Eqpt class type is 002 and F.Loc class type is 003 ..so wht ur looking for may not be possible ..

What u have understood is right, one class is of type 002 & one of type 003. Now I want to relate there characteristics .

If it is not possible directly, is there nay other way to do so?

pl try whether this is possible thru obeject dependencies for characterisitics

you will need to write a condition ( Selection or pre) in proper syntax

i dont know about your specific case but it is possible to pass on values
