Central Contracts distribution

Hi All,

Question on central contract distribution functionlity.

If I create a central contract in SRM 7.0 with 2 line items.

1 line item having the plant (location A)

2 line item havig the plant (location B)

I find that the central contract creates 2 contracts on SAP side.

Central contract '123'- Backend contract '234' line item with with location (A)

Backend contract '235' line item with location (B)

Is this a standard behaviour. How can we stop this split? Are we missing any notes.

This note already exists in our system. It does not help sort this issue

This issue is resolved.

We basically had to configure the following

In SRM SPRO-> Activate Grouping Logic for Locations in GOA. You have to activate this in order to avoid multiple contracts to be created based on locations.

We also must implement the note 1678521 - Change GOA: distribution carries wrong plant data which comes in SP12 from SRM 7.0
