Transfer order from TR

Dear Sir,

I have created a PO for 100 Qty then good received for 40 Qty.

For 40 Qty transfer requirement is created but I am facing the below Error while creating the transfer order in LT06 Transaction, .

"No destination storage bin to be found in storage type 001".

Please suggest to solve the issue.

Hi Sahu,

It means that there is no storage bins assigned to that storage type .

Please configure them then yoiu can see the storage bin allocated while doing Putaway or removal ..

There may be many reasons

1. May be you do not have any bins in the storage type or bins may be full due to capacity check or bins may be blocked due to some reason

2.check what is the putaway strategy maintained for the storage type.

e.g. if it is fixed bin, maintain the fixed bin in the WM2 view of the material.

4..Check the mixed storage indicator, depending upon if you already received any other material.

can you please tell me how to assign the storage bins to storage type.

I have created the below Bins wrt storage type 001.

WNo Typ Sq Templet Structure start val End val Increment

W01 001 001 CCCNNCNNCC AA BB 01-01-01 01-10-10 01-01-01

But still facing the same Error.

Please suggest to solve the issue.

Hi Sandeep,

First you can check it strategies.

Check the combination of storage type indicater, storage unit type, storage bin type, storage section.

i think you check the storage bin and find what you maintain the storage section there. Then you can

check it strategies..i hope it will clear the issue

Hi Sandip

I think you are over complicating this matterIf you have a message that tells you that no st bin can be found in st type 001 then obviously your strategy is sending the material to the correct st type so you can stop worrying about that

The issue is that the system cannot find a suiyable bin in the st type

If you have the put away strategy for next empty bin for instance the system will only put the stock in an empty bin

You could try creating the TO in the foreground and type in the bin that you want it to go to and then see if

a) It works and if it does you need to check what out away strategy you have in st type 001 or

b) if it does not then you will get a more explicit error message which should lead you to the actual error

All your original message means is that

'The system has followed your rules and cant find a bin that complies with your rules

Hi Sandip,

Go to Environment & select Storage BIN search log , that will exactly tell you what system did & where it stopped.

That will help you to identify the root cause & action quickly

Post the log if you are unable to crack it .

Hi

The simple answer is that your st type search strategy for put away must be telling it to go to st type 001

It may be the only st type in the strategy or it may be the last one in the stratehy i.e.

003, 002, 001

If no bins can be found you will get this message which references the LAST st type in the strategy

Basically depending on your putaway strategy (Next empty bin etc) it cannot find a bin

in Storage Type search Strategies the search seqance is as below Tcode OMLY:

according to above sequance for put away the st type is placed in 1st position.

Storage Bin Structure is as follow:

Under storage type 001 the Bim is created.

But still I am facing the Error while doing the TO. Please suggest.
