Explorer on Ipad error

Hi,

I have been trying to get Explorer on the iPad set up. I've successfully created a connection to my server. The problem comes when I try to log in and explore and Information Space.

It appears log in is successful but I get the following error:

"The Explorer web application was not able to retrieve and Explorer service"

My landscape is BI Platform 4.0 FP3 with Explorer 4.0 FP3 on Windows Server 2008.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Jeff,

Is this the whole error message?

Also, are the explorer servers in sync?

Please verify and check if the servers are incompatible in the environment.

Hi Atul,

Yes, unfortunately that is the whole error message. I did see in the "Error Messages Explained" document where it says to check to make sure the servers and web application are not incompatible. I'm not exactly sure what I should be looking for to make sure they're compatible. Any hints?

Hi Jeff,

Can you send the settings configured to use explorer.

Also, as you might already know, FP03 is in ramp up phase.

so it might not be fully adapted to the settings.

Hi Atul / Jeff,

For FP3 we should use the SAP BusinessObjects Experience app
