Loading data from Infocube to planning area

Hello Experts,

Last weekend out liveCache was de-initialized (root cause yet to be known). Later on basis team restored it to Fridayu2019s data.

We found, everything OK after the liveCache was restored but now while loading history data from infocube to planning area we get a following warning message u201C42,600 combinationens of InfoCube are not contained in the BasisPlobStruu201D u2026 ultimately the history data is not reaching planning area.

We found out the all these CVCs does exist in MC62, so why this message pops-up & no data is getting transferred.

Anyone can please throw light, u2026 what should be done in this case.

Hello,

It seems that you have lost your CVCs in /SAPAPO/MC62.

These CVCs are saved in databse instead of liveCache.

So after you restore data into liveCache, you have liveCache anchors to these CVCs in liveCache, but you don't have CVCs in database !!

Maybe you'll first need to find out why all CVCs are deleted. Did some users do some unexpected operations in /SAPAPO/MC62, or someone has manipulated database, or internal BW cube for APO?

Sorry but I don't think we can find out the reason for you ... But the solution would be recreating the CVCs.

If you have a source (like infocube or plain file), you'll need to recreate your CVCs from it in /SAPAPO/MC62.

Hello Ada,

Thank you very much for replying.

You said, " you have liveCache anchors to these CVCs in liveCache"; but no livecache anchors are found when we run the /SAPAPO/TS_PSTRU_CONS_CHECK & /SAPAPO/TS_LCM_CONS_CHECK reports, & nothing wrong comes up.

Secondly, when we delete the CVC in MC62, we don't delete it from Infocube, correct ? so how that is been reconciled?

Hi,

Have you run /sapapo/om17 - consistency check between DB and liveCache?

When you delete CVCs from /sapapo/mc62, the CVCs also get deleted from internal generated cube corresponding to your MPOS, but of cource it won't get deleted from any other cube of yours.

Besides, are you using infocube key figure instead of liveCache key figure?

If you're using infocube key figure, this should not be relevant to liveCache ...

In this case, I don't think the CVCs in /sapapo/mc62 is connected to those in your infocube.

Deletion of CVCs in either one will not affect the other.

But if for some CVCs in infocube, you do not have them in the MPOS, I don't think you can load them into planning book ...

Are your characteristics numerics ? If they have a numeric code , then check if the internal format in the MPOS matches with that in info cube.
