Work centers are created in R/3 . tcode - CR01.

To bring them over to APO you have to use the CIF jobs (CFM1 and CFM2). The R/3 work centers will get created as APO resources

Thanks

Hi Sri,

This question has been posted in APO forum, but I guess it belongs in either of the below forums to get an appropriate response from relevant ERP experts:

ERP Operations - Quality Management (QM)

OR

ERP SCM Logistics Execution

OR

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)

Post the question in the right forum to get answers quicker.

PS: Did you already have a look at SAP help for Plant Maintenance?

Hi,

I was also wondering why you wanted to use work center in PM, but did not comment that since I don't know much about PM.

For Work Center creation, go through the link below from SAP Help:

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/b1/c03e4a439a11d189410000e829fbbd/frameset.htm

There is also a section for formulas, where you can get more information on the same.

Unfortunately, the purpose of the forum is to solve complex issues, and not focus on imparting training to learners, so please try out the creation of the work center yourself by going through the SAP help.

If you have any specific issue, then you could ask someone in the forum

ERP Manufacturing (PP)

Thanks - Pawan
