Hi,

While receiving an item from vendor , how the vendor barcode embedded on the item is recognized with the respective details(material inside,quantity etc) while it is getting scaned.

Basically i want to know the link between the vendor generated bar code and our system .

Hi Jacob,

I think that this is mainly about the type of barcode so it does not matter what the code of the vendor is, if he is using the same type of barcode as your scanners are configured to scan than you will not have a problem system-wise.
