Dear All,

We would like to access a windows folder on a shared drive via portal, Is this possible?

If it is possible which authorization will be valid,

here we have a SAP Portal Authorization for the SAP user and we have a authorízation for the Windows user.

Any thoughts and inputs are highly appreciated.

Thank you,

Krishna

P.s - we do not have KM usage in out portal.

Hi  karthik Krishna

You may use Webfolders

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/30/75b62c659d724fb908c74ade23af51/frameset.htm

Also if you want to make a Windows directory avaiable on the portal, you can use a File System repository. But I am not sure about this since you are not using KM in your portal.

Dear Krishna,

You can use the SAP Portal Drive for accessing the Windows Folder.

Please refer to below documents:

Dear Arun,

We had discussed this options and this needs a client installation and thus we have ruled out this option.

Do we have some other options?

I have also checked the Active Directory options, what do you think about that

Thanks

Krishna

Dear Krishna,

Not sure about the Active Directory for Windows Folder shared folder option. Search in SMP if it is feasible for shared drive.
