Getting error while doing Convert to Auction from RFX in SRM7.0

Hi experts,

I am getting error 'At least one item is necessary' while doing Convet to Auction from RFX in SRM 7.0.

Please suggest me solution or any note is there .

Hi Prashant,

You can just check this :

If you have hidden any tabs in the RFx screen(Example : Rfx information, items, bidders, weights and scores, notes and attachments...), the code flow changes and you get this error.

If you have hidden, try unhiding them once and check if the issue persists.

Yes we have hided 3 tabs and its not possible to enable all tab at this stage because users are using it from 1 year .

Is there any other way to correction.

Any enhancement or note need to do please tell me .

I am also facing same problem! Did you get any solution?

Whether you are also getting 6 error messages, irrespective of number of items in RFx?

Hi,

Have you maintained the transaction types of follow on documents.

SPRO-> SRM server-> Cross application basic settings-> Define transaction types

Select Rfx -> click on transaction types- select the required transaction ->click on transaction types of follow on document

Enter an entry for the auction.

Just give it a try, not sure whether it works or not?

No i didnt got any solution , yes correct 6 error messages is coming in popup and one more warning is coming on page related product catagery .

May be that problem is because of product catagery not maintaind in Item.

whenever i got success i will let you know and if u get something then please let me know also.

Thanks for the response.

However for your information, you may note that, the warning message you see about the product category which will be RFx Header. System is giving warning message that Product Category at RFx header will not copied to Auction Header. This has nothing to do (technically) with product category of an item as this assignment is already part of product master.

I am just wondering why it is typically giving 6 error messages!

I have raised OSS to SAP, meanwhile let's keep exploring... Can I know whether you have done any implementation in DOC_CHANGE_BADI of RFx or Auction?

In my system i am getting this exect warning message "Product Category items from bid will not be copied to auctions"

I also tried debug for message class for these 6 messages but didnt got clue.

yes i have implemented DOC_CHANGE_BADI for RFX and QUOT but not for Auction.
