Performance issue - search in CV04n while using 'Classification' tab

Hi,

We are using classification in SAP DMS.

We have found that Search in CV04n takes lot of time when we use 'Classification' tab

The performance of search is very pathetic compared to previous tool 'Documentum'.

Is there anyway we can improve the performance of search in SAP DMS tcode:CV04n.

Hi Rehan,

I think that the first link provided by Mangesh should be useful for this performance issue. The reason for this behavior could be that the results for the document data search is large and then the classification search has to be done for all the previous found objects. If you turn around this process and execute the classification search (CV100_CLASS_SERACH) first the performance could be raised.

Another suggestion would be to update the statistics for class type 017 by using transaction CLST.
