New CTS+ Setup - Portal transport not showing in TMS queue

Hi,

I've been through the How to and Best practice guide to setup CTS+ between our EP and ERP systems and everything checks ok when I create an export, in terms of:

From TMS -

Tp tool Check (web deploy, SDM, etc).

Systems created and parameters are set.

Transport route created

Can see EPD900003 transport in SE03.

epa file is created under /usr/sap/trans/r3/data (shared directory, but different between dev and prd).

...but I cannot see the transport in TMS for import for any system queue (presuming it would be listed under EPD?).

Any ideas on what I might be missing?

Hello Chaz,

you mean you can't see the transport request on the STMS --> import buffer?

This should be a problem within the routes. Whenever you release a request, it's automatically added to the destinations systems linked to the source system. What type of routes do you have set up for your systems?

Yes, you are correct, I cant see the EPD* transport in the STMS buffer nor add it to the buffer either.

I

have two types of routes setup (hopefully this pastes from the gui - text editor for routes - ok):

However one other (or related problem) is even when I try to add a transport to the STMS queue I get a tp error:

Command: ADDTOBUFFER EPDK900004 EPD pf=/usr/sap/trans/r3/bi

  Return code: 0247

  Error text: addtobuffer has problems with data- and/or cofile

  Request: EPDK900004

This is strange because it shows it pointing to the /usr/sap/trans/r3/bi directory, when in all the tp tool config I only have /usr/sap/trans/r3 input, so I dont know where its picking up the bi extension?

I also checked the links you provided, but they are all for extended CTS, not CTS+ which is what I'm trying to do, unless I'm mistaken and its the same thing.

Any more help on getting this setup would be much appreciated.
