Last date of delivery, validation to be applied at sales order creation

Hi all

I need to put a validation in order processing i.e. user must enter one date (Last delivery date) at the time of sales order creation. After that date system should not allow creation of delivery document.

Is there any standard configuration available to restrict the delivery creation beyond a certain date entered in sales order.

Hello,

There are some config available like the 'Fixed Date & Quantity" in Availability Check which can allow Delivery creation only on a particular date.

But in your case I believe the validation is required at time of Creating Delivery & not at Sales Order creation.

I think you will have to apply a User Exit at Delivery Doucment creation level & check for a date in Sales Order.
