How to download stack.xml files from mopz?

I have assigned s-user in aisuser t-code , now my problem is configuring mopz.

when i created new mopz maintainance transaction, i am not seeing product version in order to continue to other steps to download the files.

I have added the system already in smsy.

Hi,

you need to maintain correct product version in SMSY. Then same will be displayed in MOPZ. If thts not the case then check if you are getting any errors/warning on the top of the screen of MOPZ transaction. Also if you are trying to generate xml for ehps then your solution manager itself should be ehp1 stack 26 (Not sure if its 26 or 27)

And also what are the pre configuration steps to do in solman spro img configuration?

Hi,

There are steps involved like 1. activataing bc sets, 2. activation of http services 3. satellite system connections 4.sap oss rfc connection and etc

ERROR is as below ::

No destination for sap customer number. 000xxxxxxx.

Please advice how to maintain destination for customer number

At page 22, par. 4.1.1, it says:

Prerequisite: An S user from the Service Provider, with a password that

has authorization to display all customer information for the VAR

customer numbers, must be available in the RFC SAP-OSS.

The funcitonality of hosting multiple customer numbers is automatically activated in SP15.

If you're hosting a single customer number, please implement the code correction in SAP note 1140822 via SNOTE and deactivate the BAdI following point 2(b) of the note.

thanks a lot after deactivating the badi things went fine.

In solution_manager (MOPZ), when i try to download files to upgrade up to EHP5 from EHP3

my highest stack level is as show below.

In my phase choose stack in selection file

Calculate download files automatically

Maintenance Selection

Target Stack SAP ERP Enhancement Package 3 SP Stack 09 For SAP ENH PACK 3 FOR SAP ERP 6.0

is this mean i am downloading EHP5 stack correctly or need to do some changes while assigning logical system please advice.

we are currently on EHP3 package.

Hello there,

What is the Support Package level of your Solution Manager system?

You can only download EHP5 with Maintenance Optimizer if you have Solution Manager SP23 or higher.

The target stack you show is an EHP3 stack, you are not downloading EHP5.

You have to make sure that you choose the option 'Enhancement Package installation' .

sorry, I overlooked that information .

Your Solution Manager is on SP15, so you cannot download EHP5 for ERP 6 with it. You should upgrade it to at least SP23, the recommendation to avoid issues with the common correction notes would be to go up to at least SP26.

The SAP Note 1169247 provides helpful information on how to upgrade the solution mangaer system.

You can download the required files via maintenance optimizer or from SAP Service Marketplace as described in point 5(Preparing the update) of the note.
