Application server installation

Hi expert,

recently our application server has crashed

I want to install the new application server on production enviornment kindly provide me guidance or some doc.

OS:: AIX

Database:: DB2 9.1

SAP Version:: ecc 6.0 ehp4

kindly help me i'm a new for this activity.

Hi Shiva,

https://websmp109.sap-ag.de/instguides -> SAP NetWeaver -> SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (2004s) -> Installation -> SAP NetWeaver 7.0 incl. EHP1 - Installation Guides -> IBM DB2 -> AIX

Download the installation Guide.

You should be able to find the Dialog / Additional Application server steps.

You would basically need to prepare the host with filesystems, vmo parameters, kernel parameters, environment for sidadm.

SAPInst, Kernel DVD etc..

Hi Shiva,

If you are facing issues during the installation, please let us know.

Inst guide will be sufficient to start with your installation, look for media list of knowing all required DVD's to be downloaded..
