cannot log into any Portal

Hi,

We have an SRM 7.0 (ABAP+Java) sytem. The system works fine from ABAP side but we are facing an issue with Java.

No user can log into any of the Java portals like UME, NWA etc. However, we can log into Visual Admin, Config tool, JSPM, system info.

I dont see any error in Default trace file.

Hi,

I recommend reproducing the issue while running the webdiagtool from note 1045019 (follow example 1 from note). the tool increases the security component traces and will highlight the errors. Then you can paste the error to the post for assistance.

Hi Renu,

While trying to access NWA and UME URL , what error message you are getting?

the page itself not getting open or authentication failed? pls clarify.

Also check SAP notes if it helps you:

Note 1672785 - NullPointerException in the UME Policy provider during login

Note 1676769 - exception during authentication

Hi,

To help you trouble shoot the issue I recommend reproducing the issue using the webdiagtool from note 1045019 following example 1 from the note. This will increase and highlight the security errors and check your login modules (which is were the porblem most likley is).
