SAP NW 7.1 vs SAP NW 7.01

Hello,

Please help me to clarify this...

What is the difference between "SAP NW 7.1" and "SAP NW 7.01"?

Releases of SAP ERP you can install with which release of the SAP Application Server ABAP:

SAP NW 7.00 - SAP ERP 6.0 / EHP2 for SAP ERP 6.0 / EHP3 for SAP ERP 6.0

SAP NW 7.01 - EHP4 for SAP ERP 6.0

SAP NW 7.02 - EHP5 for SAP ERP 6.0

SAP NW 7.03 - EHP6 for SAP ERP 6.0

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -

According to the above facts, To install EHP5, it should be at least SAP NW 7.02.

Currently our PRD setup is in SAP NW 7.00.

So let me know, how can i upgrade NW 7.00 to NW 7.02

What is the difference between "SAP NW 7.1" and "SAP NW 7.01"?

For different SAP Application Components there are supporting underlying NetWeaver base levels.

That means for SAP application components (ECC, CRM, SRM etc..) to run they need a supporting NetWeaver release.

For example, ECC 6 runs on NetWeaver release 7.00

ECC 6 with EHP1 requires NW release 7.01 and likewise...

Your ECC version is 6 and NW release is 7.00.

You should use SAPUp for upgrading the system to ECC 6 with EHP5 (NW 7.02)

thx got the point.

"SAP NW 7.02 - EHP5 for SAP ERP 6.0" --> implies;

To install EHP5 on ERP 6.0 , needs to have NW 7.00 with EHP2 (NW 7.02)

HI,

SAP NW 7.1 is SAP netweaver 7.1 Release. SAP NW 7.01 is SAP netweaver 7.0 EHP1.

Didn't get your second question.

Your PRD system is 7.00, you have to perform EHP2 upgrade to take it to 7.02.
