How to create universe connection for SAP ERP.

Hi,

This question has been asked many times before, please search before posting.

If you are XI3.1 customer, you will need an XI3.1 Data Federator 'federation' into a Universe Designer .unv file

if you are BI 4.0 customer, you will need to use Feature Pack 03 (currently starting Ramp Up), go via Information Design Tool, create a multi source enabled "BW SQL" federation, into a .UNX universe file.

Outside of Universes, in both Xi3.1 and BI4.0 you can use the legacy Crystal client (2008/2011) to connect to R/3 tables.
