Hello Expert ,
Our requirement is to combine two MS Word files into one MS Word file.
I tried doing concatenation of xstring files (file1 and file2) into one file lets say it as file3.
It added the binary data and showing the filesize of addition of filesize of file1 + file2 .
But when I open up this combined file i.e. File3 using FileDownload UI in webdynpro it
only shows the data from file1 .
My question is it possible to combine two MS Words ? If yes how ?

Its just an idea, i dont know exact FUnction modules for this..
Using file upload UI element, select the two files , so now both files are in xstring format..
concatenate both xstring variables, and convert xstring to word doc...
do some dig for Function modules for conversion xstring to word.

Hi,
You cant append one .doc file to another one - these are not text files.
You can use OLE:
1. open first .doc file
2. copy all content (select-all, copy-to-clipboard)
3. close first .doc file
4. open second .doc file
5. go to the end
6. paste content from first file (paste-from-clipboard)
7. save and close second file
