I have a problem with solman 7.1 SPS04. i am trying to open http://FQDN:50000/nwa it redirects to
http://FQDN:50000/logon/logonServlet which is not working.
http://FQDN:50000/index.html works fine, the
User Management and SAP Netweaver Administrator are having this problem (not working)
AIX/DB2 Platform.
Thanks.
Dear Viredi
Yes, it will redirect to the http://FQDN:50000/logon/logonServlet?redirectURL.
You need to loging with administration rights for accessing nwa.
Or User should have access to the following below any roles
SAP_JAVA_NWADMIN_LOCAL
SAP_JAVA_NWADMIN_LOCAL_READONLY
SAP_JAVA_NWADMIN_LOCAL
SAP_JAVA_NWADMIN_LOCAL_READONLY
The same things applies to the User Management (UME) and SAP Netweaver Administrator (NWA)
You can access the SAP Portal with http://<host>:<port>/irj/portal
Hope it will helps.

Hi,
I checking the defaultTrace of the server0 node to check for any coresponding errors then do a note search on themathcing error. There are some know issues with the logon servlets. Applying the latest patchs for all the core components should help.
i.e
J2EEFRMW
FRAMEWORK
J2EEAPPS
SERVERCORE
Kind regards,
Cathal
Dear Viredi
Please search with user id in the default trace log file.
if you are able to access the http://<Host>:<Port>/irj/portal then login with administrator or userid with Admin access then change the URL /irj/portal or /irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.portal.runtime.admin.logviewer.default and search with the User ID which you are using for accessing UME and NWA
Hope it will helps
