Sequence Status Monitor: how to restore a terminated sequence

Hi All,

I am facing an issue when trying to use multimapping in one environment.

When I send any message, I got this error:

"Sequence already terminated"

So I enter to the Messaging System Monitor and in the Sequence Status Monitor there are lots of terminated sequences.

What I need to do is to RESTORE these sequences, but I don't found where to do it.

Is this possible? If so, how?

Thanks!

Ans:

SAP<SID>DB.BC_MSG_SEQ_STAT table holds
the sequences and their respective status,Please look for the affected sequence definition and you would need to update the status column for theses sequences to "ACTIVE". After that refresh cache by visiting the page

http://<host>:<port>/MessagingSystem/monitor/systemStatus.jsp), and click on the "Clear cluster wide sequences status cache" link at the top of the page. Try to reprocess the failed messages , if you still see issues restart might be required to set the cache correctly.
