Is there a way to set an ENTIRE project as "READ ONLY" in Solution Manager. We can lock the hierarchy, but I also want to prevent updates to all documents.

Hi,

I'm trying to lock down an entire project. I've checked the Edit Structures and Edit Structures, Change Documents and Administration Tab. However my users are still able to add\link new documents to a node. The hierarchy is locked. I want to lock down the project in the true sense. By checking those two options, it doesnt let the user to make changes to the hierarchy but users can link documents between nodes etc.

Am I missing anything here?

hi,

You only locked the structures against editing. for locking project documentation and other tabs, you need to use the lock in the respective tabs

Work well, but I'm afraid this is a very manual and time consuming process if I have to lock each tab for each node. We have well over 200 business processes. I'll be here forever.

Is there batch job I can run to do this faster?

Solar_Project_Admin --> <Select your project> -> Scope Tab --> Edit Structures and Edit Structures, Change Documents and Administration Tab

if these two are checked, your purpose should be achieved i think.
