I was wondering if someone could kindly clear something up for me about which version of the PHP SAPRFC extension our company needs to download and utilize. I'm confused on a couple of fronts actually.
First: Our website is hosted on a "Linux on x86" 32bit operating system but I can't seem to find a download link on the SAP site that supports Linux on x86 32bit - Should we use the 64bit download??
Second: According to our companies SAP Admin, our SAP system is unicode (SAP ECC 6.0, basis release 7.01), yet according to the installation instructions for SAPRFC we need the "Non-Unicode SAP RFCSDK 6.40" file??
Anything anyone could offer in the way of guidance or clarification with this would be most greatly appreciated!!!

HI
The only think that you need to download from SAP Market Place is the RFC SDK.
You probably can use this one:
Support Package SAP RFC SDK 6.40 Linux on IA32 32bit
package RFC_60-20000055.SAR
You have to run the non-unicode doesn't matter if the SAP that you will connect is unicode or non-unicode. This is required by SAPRFC and not by the SAP that you will connect.
