Hi Experts

I have used a custom MATMAS.

Configured MVKE-VMSTA as a change pointer.

However I did not get the idoc for changing value in this field.

Request for clue.

thanks

Hi,

As far as I understood, the IDoc did not get created at all, is that correct?

You mean the configuration in bd52, don't you?

Check if you have the change pointers activated globaly (t-code bd61) and for your custom message type (bd50). And this "custom MATMAS" is just a custom logical message type for basic type MATMAS, isn't it?

Hope this helps,

Greg

Hi Greg

Thanks for your reply.

I have configured some other fields for an idential ZMATMAS. It is working fine for all those fileds except for MVKE-VMSTA.

Thanks

Dear ramSiva,

Was this field MVKE-VMSTA really changed in your scenario, for some sales area? Or a new sales area record has been added for some material? In the latter case, a change pointer is only created if you have a bd52 entry for MVKE table and KEY field. So the solution might be to add MVKE-KEY to bd52 for your message, in addition to the configuration you already have.

Hope this helps,

Greg
