Device not replaced properly

Hi Gurus,

Transaction EG30 : using this transaction replacement of device was carried out.However the device is not replaced properly.

when we check the connection object we find that new device is not replaced properly but however when we check meter reading via transaction EL31 for the installation then we find that the new device is present with reading 0 and when we check the new device we find it without any premise and installation

Hi,

Looks like you have performed only technical replacement. Please check if billing replacement is performed. Go to device location display and check the data environment, if you are able to see new devices, then technical replacement has occurred. Similarly, go to installation display and check the data environment, if you are able to see new devices, then billing replacement has also happened.

Thanks for reply.

At device location I am not able to see the new device that have replaced .Also when I checked the installation the new device is not present .The new device is only visible in EL31 while checking the meter reading .

Hey  Avinash,

The MR Reasons of the device A that has been removed has Mr reason 25 ( Replace upon removal) and 22( Meter reading at billing related removal )

The new device ( B) haas the MR reson 24 (Replace upon installation) and 22 (Meter reading at billing related installation)

the device B is not visible on installation but can be seen in EL31 .

have you faced such situation before ?
