Excise group........ G1 does not exist

I am getting the Eror while creating the Excise Number ranges through J1I9

Excise group........ G1 does not exist

Message no. NR011

I checked the table entries but it is not there J_1INEXCGRP

I checked one thread but in that thread mentioned need to enter the Excise Group in the table

Is it correct process or any solution ?
