GTS Implementation in ECC EHP5

Hi,

We are looking for implementing GTS, we are using ECC EHP5 as the central system, I can see that GTS nodes are provided here. Can anyone provide me a pointer how to implement GTS on same system as ECC is and what are the challenges.

Once your company is decided to implement GTS module,SAP will provide the relevant plug-in of your R/3 system at the time of buying SAP GTS software.Please go through the following note for step by step installation guide lines and plug-in deatils 1500690 and 1510002.

Hi,

The biggest, and the only real challenge, i think will be with ALE model and RFC communication.

If you really need to have ECC and GTS on one Netweaver system, it is advisable you use different , separate clients for ECC production and GTS production. You will end up with RFC calls to the same system but different client for SD/MM integration.

Why do you need to go this way ? Is it only a cost issue ?
