GRC 10.0 CUP - Function Approval Workflow - Decision pending?

Hi, i am customizing the Function Approval Workflow (SAP_GRAC_FUNC_APPR).

I have one stage with only one agent authorization. The agent approved the request but in Search Request:

Instance Status: Running

Instance Approval Status: Decision Pending

Audit Log:

+ Request XXXX submitted..

+ Request is pending for approval at path GRAC_DEFAULT_PATH stage GRAC_DEFAULT_STAGE

• Approve ID: zzzz

+Approved by ZZZZ at path GRAC_DEFAULT_PATH stage GRAC_DEFAULT_STAGE

?

I don´t see the function in GRC. I´m in SP07

Hello

Did anyone find a solution for this. I am having similar issue with multiple request of Organizational assignment Request. When i submit a request for multiple positions using an import file and the role owner approves the request( The only approval stage) . The path status shows complete but the instance is still running. The roles are assigned to the positions properly. Audit log says the approval is complete. Instance status shows path is complete. but the instance is still active and running. I do not wish to cancel these requests manually each time. Please advise.

I also had the same issue and waiting for SAP to reply for the error.

I have Question for you kindly let me know how do you plan to proceed with the rule set modifications. Through an approval workflow in production system ? or through transport from the development system ?

I´m trying customize my stage with the event "aprove" but i can´t. But when the approver selects the option Rejected the WF completed successfully.

Anyone can help me with this issue? thank you very much!

Hello Igancio,

Please go to stage 5 and click on display "Task settings".

Please check if you have selected Approval level : System and roles and checked options like

confirm approval,.

Hi,

Any idea how this can be resolved?

As it is already pointed out, if this request for function modification/creation is rejected, then workflow is getting completed successfully and status is changed to "Finished"!

However, if it is approved by the respective person, it gives message as "SoD function Approved". But, the request status is "Decision Pending" and if it is tried to modify the newly created function, then it gives this error:

" Function XYZ is already in the workflow approval process"

There is only one stage in the path.

Any inputs would be a great help.

Hi,

I have tried changing the request instance status from "Running" to "Finished" in table GRFNMWRTINST manually. I got through and now the request status is "Finished". Also, I changed "APPROVAL STATUS" from "Pending" to "Approved".

I can again change the values of a function and submit for approval. I noticed that, after submitting a function for a change/creation, the "SUBMIT" button still appears!

I have followed manual steps to change the status. However, this is not expected out of the system.

Still I am looking for solution to this problem. Please suggest.
