Hi,
we have installed a central SLD. Some SAP systems (ABAP and JAVA stacks) send their system data directly to a central SLD. But one java stack (NW 7.0) runs in a separate network and can not communicate directly with the central SLD. But there is a linux server with open connections to both networks. Is it possible to send data from the java stack over the linux server to the central SLD? Which software must be installed on the linux server?
Some technical help or suggestions will be useful for us.
Thanks and regards,
Helmut
If the Linux server also has an SAP system Installed with SLD, I would think of an SLD synch between the SAP system with SLD in this Linux server and the central SLD which should help.

Hi Helmult,
did you finally get it?. We have a similar problem. We want to communicate our SLD with another one in a different network and we do not how to specify the proxy settings in SLD. In the "Configure data supplier targets" page it is not possible to set up the proxy settings. We tried with the proxy service com.sap.portal.ivs.httpservice and it did not work. Do you know if there is any place where to specify the proxy settings for SLD or J2EE?
Thanks,
Antonio
Hi Antonio,
we install 2 SAP webdispatcher: one webdispatcher in one network. The webdispatcher can communicate directly. The backend systems send system data to first webdispatcher. The webdispatcher forwards the data to the second webdispatcher. At last the second webdispatcher communicates with our central SLD.
Best regards,
Helmut
Hi Antonio,
Are you able to ping both network from each other ?
If you are able to ping you Solution Manager from that network you can add that system in solution Maanger and then you can connect that SLD also.
