Deploy JDBC driver com.sap.aii.adapter.lib.sda through 7.3 JSPM deploy too

Hi Guys,

We have upgraded PI system from 7.02 to PI 7.3 . We would like to deploy JDBC driver for SQL server & Oracle as per sap note 831162. However JSPM Software deployment tool does not detect .sda file from inbox directory. How did you guys deploy?.

Hi Michal,

I have deployed JDBC driver(sqljdbc4.0) according to   http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/00b4a020-4ae6-2c10-5a95-fed4ad9a4...

Driver deployed successfully and I have checked it in folder \usr\sap\xxx\DVEBMGS30\j2ee\cluster\bin\ext\com.sap.aii.adapter.lib\lib and it's found ok. But this adapter type  not showing in Communication Channel only RFC and SOAP are showing there. I have restarted the server also. Can you tell me where the problem is?

Hi Arul,

The first option should be JSPM and it works fine.

So you can use either JSPM or Netwear Developer Studio(NWDS)

You can refer Michal's blog for this

If because of any reason JSPM and NWDS both are unavailable then you can go ahead with the telnet service from J2EE engine
