Inbound IDOC error 51: Item: 002 Goods/Service number not entered So application document not posted.

Try checking/analyzing Idoc using Tcode BD87.

If required you might need to modify the segment to accommodate Goods/Service number.

The solution has been found. It is related to GL account settings for IDOC maintained in Customizing(SPRO) under EDI settings.

check whether service number is populated in the IDOC
