how to find the length and width of PDF

Hi,

can someone tell me how to find line size of PDF form >? I mean number of characters per line, is there any function module for this?

Not sure what you need this information for. In general, the number of characters in a line depends on the font. So this is determined during rendering the layout of a page and so known only to ADS. You can manually determine the number of characters for fixed width fonts but still need to keep in mind that the font might be different on platforms and printers.

yes, that is correct, but I was asking how tocheck for the number of characters on existing layout with defaulted font settings..

Since I'm in the Adobe and SAP world I'm not 100% sure what the default font is (I think Arial) but this doesn't change the statement that this is not a fixed width font and hence you cannot say how many chars are in one line (i.e. you can have more "i"s in a line than "w"s).
