Hi QM Gurus,
I would like to know how SAP QM is comparable with Oracle's Agile PQM Solution. Request you to please share your experience. Regards, KrishnaM

HI ,
It depends upen the QM business scenario required. Altough oracle agile is little bit user friendly but SAP has got many features which agile dont have and you can implement SAP across wide range of products but for oracle the customization required is very high.

Hi,
Thank you for your response. As I understand, Agile PQM is focused more on the Analytics, CAPA and reports. SAP QM's strength is its excellent Integration, Part traceability with Batch and Serial Number management. Can we hilight something elase ?
One point well noted in your reply was: Configuration would be more complex for Agile PQM.
If you can elaborate on some specific points that would be great. We are looking at replacing Agile PQM with SAP QM for a client, manufacturing Semiconductors. Here, this Agile PQM is working with Product Development and Manufacturing on either side. Can this be replaced with SAP QM ?
Regards,
KrishnaM
Hi,
SAP QM supports you both internally and externally. It provides complete support, from product and process planning in research and development (the planning phase); through procurement, production, and sales and distribution (the implementation phase); to service and usage (the usage phase).
Please go through the below link to know more about the functionality in SAP QM

Hari
