Cost Element Creation Error

For Project Purpose i m unable to Create Inventory Gl Cost Element , below Error generate :

Plz. Send Complete Cycle with T-codes for Cost Element Creation.

G/L account 202019 is a balance sheet account

Hello Mmayoor123,

In standard system, you cannot create cost element for balance sheet item. There is reason you received error KS036. The exceptional case is mentioned in SAP note 75980.

You may proceed to transaction KA01 and enter all the required fields.

Hi,

Its a balance sheet account, you need to create statistical cost element through FS00 and give cost element category 90.

I working in Send Box , and Try for Configure Ps Module Setting.so that For MAterial inventory purpose I require the Same. Plz. provide the Way to create Cost Element .Thnks for Quick Reply.

Go to t-code FS00 and enter g/l account number. In g/l account screen click on 'edit cost element', then it will navigate to cost element creation screen provide valid from date and check cost element category 90 save.

You better get in touch with FICO consultant for the cost element creation procedure. He will also be able to tell you the impact of creation of cost element.
