Modeling Ratios in HANA

Hi,

It appears that calculated measure offer sum/max/min aggregations, however when you try and model a ratio, e.g. avg price = sales/quantity, It does not come out correctly based on the drill-down state (group by). It computes the ratio at a granular level and adds up the ratios at a less granular level.

Calculate before/after aggregation and formula collision are 2 different problems. This is a formula collision problem where the formula should prevail over the aggregation type (sum). Also the before/after is not available as an option for a calculated view.

Hi,

Can you make use of "Calculate Before Aggregation" checkbox and check the resultant records.
