Supplier selection in SAP E-Sourcing

Hi Experts,

For selecting a supplier, initially a link to sent to the suppliers for registering themselves with the relevent informaion. Once approval by Procurement manager, suppliers get their confirmation. When do they have access to the sell side of SAP E-Sourcing. Do they need access to SAP E-Sourcing while registeration or they are given access once they are confirmed by PM? Please help. Thanks in Advance.

Hi,

Based on the approval workflow of the company, access is provided after the PM approves. Meaning, procurement manager confirms the suppliers credentials and then his ID for accessing E-Sourcing gets created. This information on his ID and initial password, along with the URL for accessing E-Sourcing is sent to Supplier. This is when access is available to the Supplier.

During the process of registration, access is not available.
