Hi ,
a very high level architectural question.
I would like to activate Job Request Form in order to enable my users to open request to me for create /change/ delete job documentation.
From SAPHelp I read I have to activate Service Desk scenario.
From note Note 1111310 - Job Scheduling Management: Extended Configuration I see I have to activate BC settings
SOLMAN40_PSM_000
SOLMAN40_PSM_SP18.zip
Both actions are mandatory or they are mutually exclusive?
Can you suggest me a Basic guide for SD basic implementation?
Release is 7.0 but in a few months we'll upgrade to 7.1.

I have a valuable suggestion for you first upgrade then implement service desk...WHY?
Because in 7.0 you have transaction type SLFN but in 7.1 you have SMIN transaction type so upgrade testing documentation training all efforts are increased
so better first upgrade and then implement and in 7.1 basic settings are already taken care by solman_setup post installation activity.
hope it wil help you in taking decision.
