"maintain a settlement profile"

wen i execute a sale order, its shows an error message - "maintain a settlement profile" Message no. KD051.

I tried assigning the number range interval using the tcode - KOAL . but stillit shows the error. i ve seen the links and tried those. the material does not have any Variant configuration checked in Basic view tab. i hav created a settlement profile usong tcode -OKO7 and a;lso changed the FG material PS from MTS to MTO again itshows the same error. "You cannot enter a settlement rule without specifying a settlement profile."

can any one tell me how to specify a settlement profile?

You can refer Symptom for your reference/understanding in SAP Note 193283 - Settlement rule: KD051 is unjustified.

I personally believe [ PP or CO consultant |http://forums.sdn.sap.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1796086] will be in best position to guide you on this requirement.
