new inspection type

hi

i created new inspection type x1 from copying 04 inspection type , but lot is not generated for new inspection type for production order..

pl tellme how to generaten new inspection lot for production order.

Dear Baswa,

Please check configuration path SPRO --> Quality Management --> Quality Inspection --> Inspection Lot Creation --> Maintain Inspection Lot Origins and Assign Inspection Types.

Please check above path and check you have maintain it or not.

Did you update the material master?

Add both inspection type 04 and x1. Set X1 as the preferred inspection type.

Use a new production order to test after set up is complete.

1.Check in SPRO >>> Quality Management >>>> Quality Inspection >>>Inspection lot creation >>> Maintain inspection types click on the details maintain Physical-sample type goods receipt with task list usage 5

2. Go to maintain inspection lot origins and assign inspection types click on that select the line item u have created click on the inspection type of origin in that check for that line item have u assigned Goods Receipt Insp. for Purchase Order

3.Check in inspection for goods movement
