Dear Experts,

One user "XXXX" has raised an issue that his password has been changed.

In my company only I have authorization for changing the password.

I would like to know how the password of the user got changed.

I have checked in RSUSR100 for user change history.

It shows

changed by Action Old Value New Value T Code

"XXXX" Password Changed Long Password 1 Long Password 2 KRNL

I checked for T Code Authorization for this user. he dosent have authorization for SU01 or SU10.

Please help on how the password has been changed.

thanks

Hi Simon,

No matter what authorisation a user has, A user is authorised to change its own password at the Login screen of SAP GUI.

I dont see this solving your problem as the user himself has complained of password change. This is just a pointer for you to investigate further.

Regards,

Renu

Hi,

You could also ulse CUA and set it this way that password change could occur only in mandant like 000 where normal users have no access.

Hi,

If you deactivate the password for the user from the GUI (SU01) it will not ask user to reset their password.
