Solution Manager 7.1 SP 3
.I go into TCODE IB52 and then select my Installed Base and the Component. Then when I go to GOTO I don't see an option for "Partner". I have already created and assigned the components to the iBase. Am I missing something or is this done another way in SM 7.1? Thanks!
Problem solved. Vikram pointed out an error in my procedure.

Hi,
Please check this:
1676491 - IBase Generation fails with 'No business partner of type organization
To be able to generate IBase components automatically when you create or
change systems in the SMSY, you have to create the following Customizing
entry using transaction DNO_CUST04.
o Enter the field name: IB_GEN_AUTO
o Enter the description: Automatic IBase Generation
o Enter the field value: Blank character or X
- Blank character = Automatic generation is switched on
- X = Automatic generation is switched off
You can also try generating the IBase running report IB_GEN or
even manually.
If still systems not created automatically then :
the reason why no IBase for newly created systems is generated, is that
the organization business partner for the customer number is missing.
Procedure:
See SAP note 1144386.
for customer number xxxxx' Error

Artem,
Thanks. I checked in that tab, but I don't see where I would enter the iBase component. I see mostly sections for Industry type and Tax information.

Naor,
Yes, I have already created the BPs. What I would like to do is assign the BPs from the groups that I created in PPOMA_CRM to the iBase component of my SAP system for automatic message assignment.
