Hello All,

Can any body help me with role of a SD consultant in a plant rollout project.

What is the work done by a SD consultant in a rollout project.

Apart from the above Suggestions please check the CIN settings if the Plant is Excise Registration

If the client required new excise Group then you need to follow the below settings

Maintain Excise group

Maintain G/L account Assignment in Specify G/L Accounts per Excise Transaction

Maintain the Settings Maintain Default Excise Groups and Series Groups

Maintain the Number Ranges for Excise

In addition to abvove suggestion, you will have to extend Material Master - Sales: Sales Org1, Sales: Sales Org 2 & Sales/General Plant View.

All plant related configurations / customization would be done by MM consultant. So from SD point of view, you need to extend the sales areas to that plant.

Make sure the plant is assigned to sales/distribution channel in t.code OVX6.

Find the storage locations assigned to the plant in t.code OX09. Then check the storage location determination settings in OVL3.

Check with MM specialist on extending all the material masters to new plant/storage location and moving the required stock to new plants. Update customer masters, for whom delivery should be made from new plant. Update the output records for example BOL master data, picking master data output records in t.code VV21.

Also check relevant route determinations are maintained in t.code 0VRF.
