Problem with Attaching File in Quality Notifications

Former Member

I am trying to create an attachment using the Services for Object button in the left hand corner of a quality notification. After I click Create Attachment and select my file to link to the QN SAP comes back with an error message - "You do not have authorization for this folder." This is labeled as message no. SO009. I have searched everywhere but cannot find how to fix this problem.

Thanks in advance for your help.

hi,

one is to check with SU53 and report the same to your basis team, second check the user profile assigned in ur config against the Notification type.wat exactly maintained over there.

Regards

I think this is strictly a BASIS issue. The file you are uploading needs to go 'somewhere' on your system.

Try running your /nSU53 transaction right after seeing the error message. Give this to your security people and/or BASIS team. This might not help as I think the issue might not actually be an SAP security object. I think it is related to an actual folder on the network or in an archive where the file is being copied too.

I ran /nSU53 and it says Authorization check failed.

Authorization object S_USER_PRO Profile

Authorization field ACTVT Activity

Authorization field PROFILE Auth. profile in user master maintenance

I looked below this information and it says I have the same information in my profile. There are multiple users getting the same problem and it doesn't matter what type of file or where folder/location it is located.

Send the SU53 info to your security person. They should be able to use it to fix your profiles.
