Hello,
We have recently upgraded to Solution Manager 7.1 SP4.
Upon completion of the upgrade we are able to access Change Management workcenter and see all of our projects that existed and were in flight before the upgrade.
When we try to do any transport related activities with the project we are unable to see them unless we click "show all maintenance cycles".
Are there post upgrade activities that need to be done to link our "old" maintenance cycle to the "current maintenance cycle"?
The message we receive when we try to do basically anything with QGM is:
No active QGM project cycle for PROJECT_NAME. Check the configuration
Previously QGM projects did not require a maintenance cycle.
Hi,
Please check below note and implement:
1509091 44 48 QGM: General note for Quality Gate Management 7.1
For QGM project set up with SAP Solution Manager 7.0; we need to run
report AGS_TD_PROJECT_CYCLE_INIT after upgrading to Solution Manager
7.1. The report initizlize the project cycle which is needed for 7.1. Check the note 1509091 for this information as well.
I hope this will help.
Thanks
Regards,
Vikram

We had opened up an OSS message, and that was the solution that was provided by SAPSUPPORT.
They have since added it to the note.
It should also be noted that this does not convert your open change requests/requests. Something else was done by SAPSUPPORT to convert those existing changes and project.
Transports and Changes should have an "open" status instead of just a blank message. Do not know what was done, but have accessed for solve in the message.
