I'm trying to finish the tutorial, <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/355b9c90-0201-0010-d2a8-89fece426526">Creating a Web Dynpro Application Accessing ABAP Functions</a>.
Towards the end, I when I'm supposed to log into the Web Dynopro Content Administrator and create the JCO connections, the status symbols for the two destinations are supposed to be red (or green when I get them working). However they are grey, and I do not get a choice to click any of the buttons.
Please see screen shot:

I realize this may be a very specific problem, but just in case this is a common problem that someone may have also encountered, I thought I'd ask.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I take that back, I think that is the problem. It was configured but never started. Let me work with it some more.
