Instance XXXXXX of object type purchase order could not be changed

Experts,

SRM5.0/Ext classic scenario,

SC with 1 line item created, approved and PO created. User then added another line to the PO, the PO went for approval and was approved. However the PO could not be changed as system gave this error: "Instance 4710181101 of object type purchase order could not be changed'.

Please advise on what could be wrong.

Hi,

Apply SAP Note 1361190 - Account assignment data is not transferred to BAPI.

It might resolve your issue.

There was no issue actually. I retransferred the PO again and it worked.
