Embedding the chips into sidepanel at configuration layer

Hi All,

i have requirement like enhacing the web dynpro application with sidepanel.could anyone can help to embedding the chips to sidepanel , also way to accessing the sidepanel on application and tagging service also.i already done at personalization layer..But i need to do it in Configuration layer(design time). i already try to do with page builder Component WDR_CHIP_PAGE...But i was facing the problem while creating the application configuration and com[ponent configuration for WDR_CHIP_PAGE.

Give the clear overview on application configuration and component configuration of WDR_CHIP_PAGE and COmponent configuration of WDR_CHIP_CATALOG components..

Kindly help to me more over thanks for spending time to look on this post..

Be aware that there are two different side panels: One integrated into a Web Dynpro ABAP applicationg, the other part of NWBC. The latter is available with EHP of 7.0, so please check your version first.
